Herbal treatment for boils

Boils is an skin disease triggered by staphylococcus bacteria, which in the beginning is similar to red colored patches and within a day or two it takes swollen appearance, as put gets filled in which is mainly bacteria and dead cells. It can occur on any part of the body but area which are exposed to friction and moisture are at higher risk of getting attacked.

For curing diseases herbs have been in use for long, due to hit and trial success achieved from it use or accidental discovery by seeing animals being benefited from it. Herbs contain therapeutic properties, antibacterial & antiseptic properties. They provide a soothing sense to skin and relieve pain to a great extent.

Some of the commonly used herbal remedies for treatment of boils are –

  • Calendula in herbal form or in slightly dilute form
  • Hepar sulphuris calcareum are tender and sensitive and suits people who are sensitive to cold and very weak
  • Propolis a natural antibiotic agent helps in controlling infection
  • Burdock root controls infection with its antibiotic agent
  • Tea tree oil
  • Golden seal
  • Dandelion cleans the blood and liver
  • Paste of sandalwood and turmeric powder offers cooling effect
  • Neem leaves as an anti inflammatory and antibacterial solution
  • Shamali flower, castor oil, garlic, onion are many more.

They are highly contagious in nature, so precautions need to be taken and the person affected by it needs to maintain hygiene and they should preferably not keep in touch with others. This will not heal boils quickly but also prevent its reoccurrence as well.
